The problem

Why this exists.

Manually adding transactions is the wall most personal-finance apps die at. India already has a regulator-blessed answer — the Account Aggregator — and most retail users do not know it exists.

We want one-tap connect that uses an existing RBI-licensed AA rather than asking users to upload statement PDFs forever.

How it works · 3 steps

From input to outcome.

  1. Step 01

    Step 1

Pick your AA from the bottom-sheet (Finvu, Onemoney, NADL, more).

  2. Step 02

    Step 2

Consent to the data flow on the AA's own screen — Mukodi never sees your bank password.

  3. Step 03

    Step 3

Transactions, balances, and EPF entries land in the app the same evening.

Under the hood

The models and routes behind it.

API routes
  • POST /api/v1/aa/consent
Compliance posture
  • RBI-AA framework — the AA is the consent broker; Mukodi participates on the Financial Information User (FIU) side (the FIU-of-record arrangement is being finalised).
  • DPDP §6 — consent is purpose-bound and time-bound; revoke from the AA app at any time.
  • We never ask for or store bank-portal credentials.
What it's not

AA gives us read-only transaction data. It does not authorise Mukodi to move money or open new accounts on your behalf.
