- Default BAAI/bge-reranker-v2-m3 (Apache-2.0, verified 2026-06-18; see FOUNDATION_MANIFEST rag_reranker_bge_m3, SHA-pinned).
- Overridable via the RAG_RERANKER_MODEL env var — any override must be re-cleared by LicenseComplianceWarden (Apache-2.0/MIT only).
